2021 Hyundai Tucson Vs. 2020 Hyundai Tucson
Though the years in front of the name may change, the Hyundai Tucson comes through each year as a delightful machine with upscale styling, an interior that radiates a welcome aura of simplicity, and a ride smoother than the smoothest Miles Davis solo from his Blue in Green period.
The philosophy behind the ride belies an emphasis on being a top-value crossover SUV. As a result, this handsome machine has a lot to offer. What’s been changed up for the 2021 model year?

What’s new on the 2021 Hyundai Tucson?
As seen in the table above, not much is different in the 2021 Hyundai Tucson. The latest model gets the same great price and features as the previous year. It enjoys solid fuel economy and cargo numbers. And it has excellent warranty coverage.
What colors are available for the 2021 Vs. 2020 Hyundai Tucson?
In fact, the only real difference between the 2020 and 2021 Hyundai Tucson appears to be available color choices, for which there is some conflicting information. Car and Driver reports that three colors have been swapped out for 2021; according to them, Black Noir Pearl has been replaced by Ash Black, Gemstone Red is swapped out for Red Crimson, and Coliseum Gray assumes the place of Sage Brown.
However, the official Hyundai website does not list any of the colors referenced by Car and Driver. Instead, color options for the 2021 Hyundai Tucson are:
- Magnetic Force
- Black Noir Pearl
- Winter White
- Aqua Blue
- Stellar Silver
- White Cream
- Dusk Blue
Now, this is still different from 2020. There is no longer any Sage Brown or Gemstone Red option. Our conclusion is that color options for the 2021 Hyundai Tucson have simply been reduced from nine to seven.
